MEET THE TEACHER Mr. Daleus Middle School Band Director ABOUT ME Mr. Daleus I can't live without being in front of an ensemble. Music is such a powerful tool to connect to other people and he loves that as a conductor, he is able to do that. CURRENTLY READING Every August, right before school starts, Mr. Daleus always like to read Adventures in Band Building by his college band director, Dr. Thomas McCauley. I always gets him energized about the school year and teaching band! FUN FACT He loves soup dumplings and potstickers and going to estate sales. His two favorite places to visit are Newport, RI and Niagara Falls, NY! FAVORITE PART ABOUT BEING IN EDUCATION "My favorite part about being in music education is the transformative power that it has on our day to day life.
