Project Pride Annual Thanksgiving Drive- 2025
For over fifteen years, 8th Grade Project Pride has worked with HP Teens for Tomorrow and Woodcliff Lake Project Nest to supply Thanksgiving dinners to more than 600 families in Newark affiliated with The Apostles’ House.
We are again turning to our HP school and greater community for help through our “Adopt a Family” program. If you are interested in adopting a family, complete this google form and tell us how many bags you would like. Once a family commits to making a meal bag(s), we will send the special bag(s) home with your child.
Inside the bag you will receive a list of items needed ( see below ) to make a complete meal. Additionally, we encourage families to make a card or place a note wishing the recipient a Happy Thanksgiving. We would love for students to join their parents in buying supplies and in making the card/note .
Please send the completed bags back to HP School ASAP. They must be in by November 21st to prepare for our drop in Newark.
2 cans of vegetables (any variety)
1 Large or 2 small cans of Yams
2 cans Cranberry Sauce
1 Box of Cornbread
1 Packet or jar of Gravy
1 Box of Potatoes
1 Box/Bag Cake, Brownie OR Cookie Mix
*Please note stuffing is being donated in bulk and NOT needed in the bags.
