As we wrap up this week, a reminder that school is closed next week for Spring Break. We wish families celebrating Easter and Passover a peaceful and happy holiday.

As shared yesterday by Mr. Conlon, congratulations to Ms. Megan Roth who is the recipient of the Teacher of the Year award!

Save the Date - Our Art Show and Centennial Celebration will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd from 6:00-7:30 pm. The building will be filled with student artwork, music performances through the decades, a play preview and grade-level centennial projects.

We’re excited to share that our popular Summer Escape Camp is back again this year, running from August 4th–22nd, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This engaging camp offers a fun blend of academic enrichment and social-emotional learning to keep minds sharp and spirits high! Lunch ordering for May AND June is now open at www.myfooddays.com. Ordering will close on Monday, April 21st. You must complete and pay for your order by 6 pm on April 21st, or your order will be cancelled – no exceptions!

8th Grade Guys & Dolls Tickets will be available starting April 15th on: hps.booktix.com.

On Wednesday, our 3rd graders hosted the annual Senior Share Breakfast for their grandparents and grandfriends. Students sang and played the recorder, led by Ms. Park. After performing, students were able to spend time interviewing grandparents. Thank you to the HSA and HPEA for their coordination and hospitality and to Mr. Pat and Mr. Darren for the setup.

Wee Deliver News: We have just completed the winter session of Wee Deliver. We received so many letters from classrooms and our dynamic 4th grade team worked so hard delivering them! Our spring session will begin on Wednesday, May 7th. Any 4th grader who is interested in working on the Spring Wee Deliver team just needs to report to the Art Room on Wednesday, May 7th at 8:05am, ready to work! Congratulations to the 8th grade SAIL students who competed in the Rube Goldberg contest today. Kudos to Kelly Bae, Aaron Choi, Anna George, Sarah Hahm, Kayla Lee, James Lehmann, Leo Nakamura, Dima Pisetsky and TJ Shin for taking first place in the competition!

  • Spartan Basketball Camp: Mr. Leichte and the HP basketball team would like to invite girls and boys entering grades 3-6 to join us for a fun and exciting week of learning and developing fundamental basketball skills.

Summer Learning Opportunity

Summer reading and math support - Trying to avoid the dreaded summer slide? Looking for a quiet place for your child to complete summer work with guidance? Tired of your child resisting to complete their assignments? Want to start off next year on a good note? Sign up to help your child meet their summer math and reading goals for the start of school. Mrs. Brodie, Mrs. Vazquez, and Mrs. Koh will guide students as they focus on finishing summer reading and math requirements.
