HARRINGTON PARK SCHOOL DISTRICT JESSICA NITZBERG ACTING SUPERINTENDENT March 28, 2023 Dear Parents, Guardians, and Staff Members: Harrington Park School District has a long tradition of excellence in the development of student leadership. Therefore, to honor this strength and tradition, the Circle of Leadership was created in 2006. The purpose of the Circle of Leadership is to recognize and honor exemplary former students as well as long-standing community members. This honor will serve as a record of their accomplishments. To qualify for the Circle of Leadership, a candidate must meet one of the following criteria: A former graduate of the Harrington Park School District or HP resident Must exemplify the leadership qualities that are recognized as building blocks to success (honor, character, conviction, selflessness) Must have impacted the community of Harrington Park which, in turn, created a ripple effect in changing the world Recipients are noted for their ability to inspire, instill and demonstrate the qualities listed above in the Harrington Park School and community. With the Circle of Leadership providing as a daily reminder, the students and staff will recognize that this collection will serve as a motivating force for igniting the spirit of leadership that we in Harrington Park hold so dear. If you are interested in nominating someone, please fill out the attached form and return it to the Office of the Superintendent on or before April 6, 2023.
