Out of Class Support
Thr resource room out of class support class prepares students for tests in Social Studies and Science and to keep up with their classes. Students are given copies of classroom notes and study guides that are reviewed with their resource room teacher. Students are given assistance with ways to effectively prepare for upcoming test. Some students will highlight notes or prepare notecards to help them study. The resource room teacher will work with their teachers to prepare the study guides and modify test if needed. Although the resource room teacher will remind the students to attend their out of class support period it is also the responsibility of the student to seek help when they feel it is necessary. The frequency of time spent in the resource room will vary on an as needed basis from student to student.
